Treacher1 Posted February 15, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 15, 2016 My wife and I are both Diamond Plus members. If I pay for our cabin, and treat my two sons and their wives to a cruise - do I get the balcony discount on the 2nd and 3rd cabins I am paying for in addition to the discount on my cabin? Thanks for the information - appreciate it.
Lynnees Posted February 15, 2016 #2 Share Posted February 15, 2016 You can't get it for all 3 but if you book yourself in one and your wife in a second you can get it for those two.
leaveitallbehind Posted February 15, 2016 #3 Share Posted February 15, 2016 You and your wife separately are both eligible for the balcony discount as long as each of you are on a separate stateroom reservation. In that manner each stateroom would receive the balcony discount as a result of each of you being on one of the two staterooms. There would not be any way to get a third stateroom discount. In other words, you do not get a balcony discount simply by paying for the additional staterooms. An eligible D+ member would have to be on each stateroom reservation as an occupant to receive the discount.

M_BA Posted April 23, 2016 #5 Share Posted April 23, 2016 (edited) Will Guest Services redo the Sea Pass cards when on board? You can get additional rooms keys but the SeaPasses will remain the same. You can link all three rooms if you want to pay for all charges on board, too. Edited April 23, 2016 by M_BA
foxgoodrich Posted April 23, 2016 #6 Share Posted April 23, 2016 We've done this before, and here is how it worked for us... We booked 2 cabins, one for us and one for our son. We put my name on one (with DIL's name) and my husband's name on the other (with son.) That way we got the D+ discount on both balconies. When you put in your information for your Set Sail Pass, each cruiser has to put in a credit card number for the onboard account. (Or specify a cash account) So each person's account is separate unless you deliberately combine them. In our case DH and I used the same credit card for our individual accounts. Our son and DIL used their own credit card. We just left that alone, so we each had our own bill and CC payment at the end, but we went to Guest Services at the beginning to get room keys for our mixed up cabin mates. Those cards were just keycards to let us in, and you couldn't charge on them. No big deal really, other than keeping up with an extra card. cruiseguy1016 Posted April 23, 2016 #7 Share Posted April 23, 2016 (edited) Will Guest Services redo the Sea Pass cards when on board? You can make the changes when you check in at the pier. Just tell them what people will be staying in which cabin. They will make the changes before you even get on the ship.
