Pam in CA Posted February 15, 2016 #5 Share Posted February 15, 2016 (edited) Probably waiting for late passengers since if passengers miss the ship, they cannot fly to Hawaii and board there unless they make arrangements to disembark in Ensenada. An hour or two makes no difference to the itinerary as she's sailing for the next several days to Hawaii. I've often had a ship sail late on embarkation day. Not a big deal. The fog cleared up around 10:30am, but the provisions had to be loaded, and some incoming flights were diverted to Ontario and other airports.
