Holiday Dreamer Posted February 16, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 16, 2016 We are considering booking the Seranade. Have not been on this ship and wondering the dress code on formal night. Also is there any place to smoke a cigar on this ship. Thank you in advance for your responses.

smc99 Posted February 18, 2016 #3 Share Posted February 18, 2016 While the Dress Code recommends a suit/cocktail dress, it seems that more and more people are ignoring that completely and just wearing their normal "Smart Casual" clothes. I can see their point, but It's nice to dress up once in a while.
cruisingsince94 Posted February 18, 2016 #4 Share Posted February 18, 2016 I'm not someone who puts on a suit very often, but I actually enjoy doing it for formal night. I like seeing my wife all dressed up so on our cruises I tend to actually dress up more than once.
twincheryl Posted February 18, 2016 #5 Share Posted February 18, 2016 Not one for dressing up... definitely wear whatever we want on formal nights although not sloppy by any means. DH wears nice black sweater and slacks and I usually wear dark jeans and a nicer top or sweater. Relax and enjoy your cruise!
Rare island lady Posted February 18, 2016 #6 Share Posted February 18, 2016 (edited) Just off Serenade a few days ago. Pax were dressed to the max for formal night, but perhaps that is because it was a 10 night cruise with a lot of older pax. We still tend to keep to the traditional formal nights, I am assuming. And my DH looks really nice in his tux! ;) Edited February 18, 2016 by island lady
