Does this ship have the coke machines? What time is the classic dynamic dining dinner? The first night show. Where is it located? Does anyone know who will be cruise director in June? Is the ifly up and running again?

Thank you in advance for any info you can give me.

Yes, Anthem has Freestyle Coke machines.

I believe there are two Dynamic Classic times: 6pm and 8:30pm.

Coke machine are everywhere like windjammer and cafe promenade/sorrento. Classic dining is 530 when I was on. Show is mostly 7 and 9. Special show like we will rock you , spectra, and gifts need advance reservation. Some show are in Royal theater and some are in 270. Need to look at your compass. I think Abe Hughes should be your cruise director. Ifly should be back to normal by the time you cruise. There still lot of work and certain thing is still off. Check fb page.

There are several Coke Freestyle machines throughout the ship.

Dynamic Class dining times are FIVE THIRTY and EIGHT THIRTY.

Probably Dru Pavlov will be CD. Poor Abe needs a vacation!

iFly is up and running.

Welcome Aboard Show: 7 & 9. (Royal Theatre, Decks 4 & 5 forward)

According to Bayley, there are a handful of remaining minor issues that require attention including replacing outdoor ceiling paneling by the SeaPlex, repairing some balcony partitions and replacing broken furniture. North Star, RipCord by iFLY, FlowRider and other favorite experiences are fully operational.

Thanks for the info everybody. I'm a little concerned about dynamic dining classic early. Royal Caribbean cancelled We Will Rock You 9 PM show and changed it to 6:30. I then booked another day at 7:30, so I wonder who is correct about the time. Is it 5:30 or 6:00 PM?

Carol has been on Anthem recently, so I would be confident about 5:30pm.

If anyone on the Anthem currently can also answer the following:

1) Can you plug HDMI cable into the TVs?

2) Is there baccarat in the casino?

I started a forum on this a few days ago, but didn't get an answer from anyone currently on the ship.

Thanks!

Rich,

You must be a glutton for punishment. First your travails with last month's snowstorm (I believe the flight from Stewart did get out), and now dynamic dining. At least you won't have to worry about flight cancellations.

Sailed Quantum last year and am booked on Anthem 6/16/16. I steered away from dd classic because it is inflexible. They lock you into a fixed rotation of the free restaurants and they determine the order. If you want to change a time or restaurant for any given night you can't. Your only options are to book a specialty restaurant or eat in the windjammer. On Quantum after sampling all four free restaurants we found that we vastly preferred two of them over the others. Not being in dd classic we adjusted our reservations and just ate in those two for the last 8 nights, asking to be placed in the sections of waiters we liked. Also, since we weren't locked into a fixed dinner time on non-show nights we made later reservations to spend more time in the dl. Fortunately the ship itself is beautiful and cafe 270 is a great place for breakfast and lunch. Enjoy.

*I* know why people are saying that first seating is 6.

THAT IS WHAT IT SAYS ON OUR INVOICE. THAT IS WHAT WE WERE TOLD WHEN WE SIGNED UP.

I only found out after boarding, and going to our cabin, and looking at the paper in our cabin, that dining was at 5:30.

"Surprise!"

Too funny! I just looked at my invoice for our June Anthem cruise and of course it says... 6pm. Hmmm... Do I believe RCI or Merion Mom? Well Merion Mom of course!

Also on day one, there was a show in Two70 at 10:30pm. It was like an intro to the Two70 lounge. It was good. No reservation needed.

Do not miss this intro to Two70. It was fantastic. It was 10pm on our sailing, so just be sure to look for it in the Compass.

Once again you people have really come through with the info I need. Baron, yes I'm a glutton for punishment. We didn't take that Stewart flight as it was further than we wanted to go to pick up our car after the cruise. We caught up with the ship in Jamaica on day 4 and had a great back to back cruise, then our flight to Islip after a day in Florida was cancelled by last weeks snow storm (4 flights cancelled in a 2 week period). We were able to switch to a flight to Laguardia and a limo home on Monday.

We prefer traditional dining with the same tablemates and waiters so we're doing dynamic classic. We're doing this cruise for the ship. not the ports, so we'll have no problem making 5:30 dinner.

Regards to all, Rich

My Anthem DD Classic 1st seating says 6 PM too. Is it possible they switch between 5:30 & 6:00 based on the sailing? Or should I resign myself to 5:30 PM dinners?

From what Carol posted on a very recent cruise, expect 5:30pm.

Currently on Anthem and yes there is one Baccarat table, on this sailing $25 is the minimum bet. On our January 15 Anthem sailing, the table minimum for Baccarat was $300 , I was watching people playing. The table minimum is going to vary for each sailing.

I doubt very much if you can plug a HDMI cable into the TV, not 100% sure.

I was following your thread and wondered what happened. Thanks for coming back and posting follow-up! Glad you had great b2b cruises, sorry about the travel hassles.
