Sovereign Of The Seas, Junior Suite

Hi all! We're thinking of taking a spur-of-the-moment cruise next month - has anybody stayed in a junior suite on the Sovereign, and if so, what did you think of it? Hubby and I are taking our teenager and we though the extra sofa bed (and of course balcony, no, not to throw her off lol) would be great, but I wanted your opinion.

We were on the Sovereign in May and in a junior suite. It's a great cabin. I think with the extra room in the junior, it would be better for your teenager.

We have been on the Sovereign twice, one in an inside (our first cruise ever) and recently in a Jr. Suite. The inside cabins are way to small for anything for over two in a cabin. The Jr. Suites are good sized and have the only balconies on the ship (except for full suites that have them too).

 

The ship has been refurbished and all the public areas and suites look great!

 

We are booked again for April in a Jr. Suite.

We were on her in May, Junior Suite 1058.

 

We loved this cabin.

 

Lots of room, tons of storage space.

 

Even had a Fridge.

 

And we've always had a balcony, so we had to get a JS for this cruise.:p

 

It was DH, myself and our 4 yr old daughter.

 

She was just fine on the pull out sofa bed.

 

Just would not recommend the sofa bed for anyone over 5ft tall.

I think Sara may have a heart attack over this one. I love doing stuff like this! :) First we'll be just going to pick up a friend at the airport. Then when she sees the luggage, we'll just be going to Seattle for the weekend. Then when we get to Seattle to change planes, she'll figure it out. :D
