Will I make my train?

I'll be on the Sapphire Princess at the end of November--and I'm thinking of taking Amtrak back home. Will I make a 10:15am train on the day we get off the ship? What do you think?

If the train leaves out of Los Angeles, it's possible but unlikely. Disembarkation would have to start on time with no delays and no traffic, which isn't likely.

I think it may be "pushing it" to try to catch the Starlight out of Los Angeles at 1015am.

 

Have you considered takng a later Pacific Surfliner, up to Santa Barbara (overnighting there), and then catching the following day's Starlight?

 

So many variables can delay the ship, particularly northbound from Mexico.

Hmmmm.....I'm not sure I'd plan on it, but it's possible.

 

Getting off the ship in LA, and getting on the train in San Pedro, Long Beach, where?
