how to carry on sodas

How many beers can we carry on? We dont drinks soda pops.

We have had our soda scrutinized and have been waved thru without even a look. You just never know.

we take on 60 cans :eek: (for 5 people) and always put in rolling suitcase now, have had security rip the cartons apart and had to carry them in a bag because there was nothing left of the carton. so always take something to carry them in.

In Baltimore we took ours in a small rolling suitcase. They opened the soda carton, inspected the sodas and taped it back together.

I haven't but I have known people to open a few 12 packs of soda and replace it with 12 beers. Seemed to work pretty well. Just tape or glue the 12 or 24 pack back together.

Which is why we will be banned from bringing soda on board sooner or later. It would be much more cost effective if Carnival banned carry on drinks completely. Embarkation would be more efficient therefore less costly and they could reap the benefits from additional sales.

Cruised on Glory last week. Strapped 6 cases of pop (6 travelers) to a wheeled cart. Security could see all boxes, never once requested them to open them. He was actually pretty impressed when I picked up the whole cart and tossed it on the conveyor to go through xray.

While I recognize your sarcasm and I am not saying I agree with it I just see Carnival using it as an excuse and implementing it in the future.
