Kramer995 Posted February 29, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 29, 2016 Do you have a recommendation for the prettiest pink sand beach in Bermuda? This is my first time to the island. Thanks!
1bets1 Posted March 1, 2016 #2 Share Posted March 1, 2016 Horseshoe bay beach is a must-see! Google images. Very easy to get to from the port, and has bathrooms, chair/umbrella rentals, snack bar.
Kramer995 Posted March 1, 2016 Author #3 Share Posted March 1, 2016 Thanks!! I've read Horseshoe and Elbow. I can't wait to see the pink sand!
Cornishpastyman1 Posted March 1, 2016 #4 Share Posted March 1, 2016 Thanks!! I've read Horseshoe and Elbow. I can't wait to see the pink sand! Hi Heather These were the beaches we visited. I'd say the sand was pinkish rather than pink but who cares ? The water was warm and the sand is lovely whatever colour you call it. Rare Keith1010 Posted March 5, 2016 #6 Share Posted March 5, 2016 I too recommend Horseshoe Bay beach as our favorite of the beaches followed by Elbow Beach. Keith

arb18 Posted March 5, 2016 #8 Share Posted March 5, 2016 Why the frown? Chairs are available for anyone who wants one.;) Because I would rent chairs and umbrellas and have heard that they are not available at all beaches....thinking about bringing my own. Charles4515 Posted March 5, 2016 #9 Share Posted March 5, 2016 (edited) Because I would rent chairs and umbrellas and have heard that they are not available at all beaches....thinking about bringing my own. Of the pink sand beaches. Chairs are available to rent at Horseshoe Bay. (they may be available at some other pink sand beaches, but that has sometimes changed over the years so I will refrain from committing that there will be chairs for rent at other pink sand beaches like Warwick Long Bay or Elbow this coming cruise season). Also chairs are available for rent at Tobacco Bay, which is not a pink sand beach. In the video there were a bunch of beaches shown. Some don't have chairs for rent but others that do, well a lot of people don't rent the chairs, they prefer towels in the sand. Arb18, when I said chairs were available for those who wanted them, of course I meant for the beaches that have them. That is one reason why you didn't see lots of people renting them. ;)
Butterfinger1954 Posted March 17, 2016 #11 Share Posted March 17, 2016 I have been to Bermuda twice. The sand at Warwick Long Bay beach is much pinker and courser than the sand at beautiful Horseshoe Bay beach which has a much subtler "pinkish" color and is a softer sand.
