Just got the mail today and I received yet another voucher for a free CCL cruise. I am not even sure if I'll be able to sail one more time in the window of availability. Man like really does suck sometimes doesn't it? :D

I would fix whatever it is that wouldn't let you take a free cruise. Turrible.

I cruise on Carnival all the time, never get any special offers or free cruises! But I don't gamble-maybe I need to. Why would they offer me free anything if I'm a great paying customer...? You should really figure out how to take that free cruise! [emoji41]

I get every think comped on land casino's and at the end of the day it's not free. But if you are going to gamble going on a cruise for free not a bad deal. I don't gamble on the ship because when I'm playing craps and have 25 dollars or more per roll I'm not buying drinks. Its cheaper for me to just pay for my cruise then loose on the ship.

How much does one need to play a day and at what game to get free cruise invites...0n the different lines and Vegas..how does one find out...LOL. Does it ever happen for slot players?

On cruises are they typically at least an outside room?

Is this a kosher question?? Sorry if so...and omit.

Congrats OP..know you deserve it and have earned it somehow.

I must say you are a very smart person! I just shake my head when people say they got a free cruise through the casino. Can they not figure out that it is not "free" at all?

It reminds me of when someone says, "I have FREE long distance calls". Ummm, no you pay for your long distance calls, you actually have UNLIMITED long distance calls.

The people that gamble and receive "free" cruises are actually paying for the cruise in a round about way.

I've gotten the free cruise offer twice from Carnival and I have never played a card game in the casino in my life (dont know how). I do however play about $20-50 in slots playing penny slots which usually last me the entire cruise and I end up walking away with more then what I started with.

So you dont necessarily have to spend thousands to get one.

I have never played in the Casino once on a cruise and I received a free voucher a few years back. We upgraded to use if for 4 of us, but the total was 950 bucks for an ocean view cabin 7 days. Two would have been free aside from port fees. It was most definitely free. I believe myself that it is a marketing ploy. Also, on board sales run the cruises not ticket price.

Yes, at one time Carnival did give away some free cruises but I was talking about the Casino cruises not those. Those cruises were actually free.

I'm getting ready to go on my 7th consecutive free Carnival cruise in the past 2 years. One was a "bounce back" casino offer, two were comps from a land-based casino in Florida and four have been Premier casino offers. I've been lucky and managed to hit a jackpot on the first or second evening of each cruise. I recycle that money through the slots a few times and typically manage to walk out ahead or break even.

I have been offered free cruises several times. I've taken the offer twice (I only have so much vacation time availabale). I've also been offered DEEPLY discounted cruises ($49 for 4-days). These have all come to me because of my casino use. I pretty much only play the slots and I have a strict daily limit of $50 per day. Most of the time I've come away even or ahead by the end of the cruise.

My husband plays the tables (also with that $50 per day daily limit) but he's never been offered these free cruise perks.
