Can't recommend the Eataly. We went there with another couple and had a horrible experience. Steaks not even cooked, service was very slow and not attentive. Experience was not even close to what you would get on other lines. This experience was only the second time I've ever complained about anything on a cruise ship. MSC made it right, but they wouldn't have had to if the Eataly would have lived up to the upcharge it required to eat there.

Totally agree about Eataly - service is appalling! No atmosphere, either, as the place is always practically empty.

OK, so now I'm throughly confused!! :confused:

First time sailing MSC Davina with Black card. So no set rules....guess we will have to wait until we get onboard! ;)

.............. there are, technically, at least shoreside. But once onboard they seem to become flexible (up to a point!) ;) Aren't rules made to be broken, anyway? :D
