How many "Gala Evenings" on a 15 night Panama Canal cruise? Also, what is the typical attire?

 

Most likely 3 gala nights, but could be 2 or 4. Search the boards for "gala" and you'll get lots of different posts about dress on gala nights. Some even agree with each other! :)

I'm taking the NA on April 10th. On the 15 night cruise we have 2 gala nights.

On the gala nights we have experienced the dress was a bit lower than the former formal nights, but not down to smart casual. For example, many men had a jacket or tie but not both, and some had neither. Fewer tuxes than former formal.

We saw everything when Gala nights were introduce.

Even in the Pinnacle and Tamarind people were not all dressed for Gala nights.

I would expect three Gala nights on a 17-day cruise. The schedule jumps from two to three at the 14-day mark.
