Also thank you so much for the kind words you posted on my Roll Call. As soon as I get my 16 year old son all grown up and safely off to college, I can start cruising those Trans-Atlantics (can't wait) and not have to wait for the "dreaded" school vacation time to take a cruise.

I, too come here to read the whit and banter of the regulars. If I see certain names like Newt, Danno, Chesterh, catmand, Lois, both Phils, Blazerboy (Do I really have to curtsy in your presence??), and others I know it will be a lively discussion. My second favorite is to peak into the topics well known for flames and controvercy, in hopes of seeing a train wreck in the making. I usually just sit back and watch it happen.

 

Than there are always the roll calls which get frequented, never know who you will meet and who may become a more than just a name behind a post.

No, no one need curtsy in front of me- I was merely responding to Chuck's formal tone- The House of Hubble is notoriously casual (and covered in dog hair:eek: )

 

That said, reminds me of when I was young, in Newport, and hobnobbing with the Ocean Avenue set. Met a princess- genuine or not, you decide- there was almost as much fake royalty on Newport as in Miami.) Her escort thought I wasn't being deferential enough, and reminded me that she was a princess! I responded (before thinking better of it) that it didn't really matter, because, as a queen, I out-ranked her!:D

 

Didn't get quite so many invitations after that...hmmmm...wonder why?:o
