The comp menu is more like Celebrity!

I mentioned to Stephane the F&B manager that the on board menu is Apx 25 % of the menu on Azamara web page

He said he will follow up!

We shall see !

The new venue PATIO is a great alternative at night. The ribs are wonderful!

Hi fb0075,

I'm struggling to understand your concern. Send me more information and I'll see if I can help Stephane research the issue re the website for you.

P.s. I'm glad you like the new Patio. I did too, but for some reason I didn't try the ribs. Next time!

Thats what I understood about the post, that they are only offering 25 % the complimentary list we can see on the internet.

I had the same feeling last year, that they did not offer all the drinks, included in the complimentary list. But I was not sure about it, because it´s too much.

Maybe Bonnie has already contacted them and when we will board in about a week, they will offer all the complimentary drinks from the list.

And Bonnie, don´t forget to talk about the Cosmopolitan. I will enjoy it on our first CC meeting for sailaway in the Sunset Bar on march 16th. :D

Regards from cold Germany with lots of snow yesterday

Hi beachseeker,

thank you for testing this for me! I was on late February and forgot to 'test' this myself!

Hi Bonnie

Several of us keep asking why no form of brandy, (cheap will do,) is included in the nearly inclusive fares but no one comes up with any answers.

Please can you ask again the reasoning behind having every other spirit but no brandy.

Thanks

Azamara newbie! 4th June on Journey. I was not planning on upgrading to a drinks package as the comp list looks good enough. Surely, Azamara would have to provide everything on the list on their own website! Could understand if they genuinely ran out of something, but surely a suitable alternative would be provided.

Is this not the case?

Hello readingfast, I am aware you keep asking about Brandy. I have no explanation for you other than that there are no plans at this time to change the list of inclusive alcohols.

There are 9 spirits listed on the comp menu BUT there are 31 listed on the web page!!!!

I have found that It depends on the bartender--the one in the casino bar is GREAT and when I questioned him he brought out of his pocket a copy off the web page! :)

Also, on the web and you can get it from most bartenders are 3 BRANDIES--CHERRY--APRICOT--BLACKBERRY

It appears that the problem is lack of communication again--the servers go strictly by the limted menu as that is the way they were trained but if you question they will go to the bartender and get it straightened out--

Let me say that this isnt a point of contention as EVERYONE is extremally nice and want to please!

I have learned that the bartender staff last year was trained to make a COSMOPOLITAN and it is no problem--I was turned down for a lemon drop the first night in the LIBRARY but was served it the second night.

I did bring this to Stephaune attention but nothing has changed---but again no problem for what you want--you might bring a copy of the menu on web page

I printed out a menu from the website for all the complimentary drinks this afternoon.

It seems to me much more, than the menus, they present you in the bars.

If nessecary, I will present it to the F&B. Stephane is his name?

Thanks Bonnie, didn't mean to nag!

I will have to wait and see if they decide us poor brandy drinkers, (not fruit brandies which are sweet), can have free drink after dinner.

Thanks once more for trying.

I'm hearing the office will review all this with the onboard staff, to see where the discrepancy is. Thanks for pointing it out for us Frank.

Thanks Bonnie. I am an Azamara newbie and don't want to embarrass myself on-board by insisting on something that is not included. I have printed the list of complimentary drinks from the website, and it is very inclusive. Just hope its the same on the ship!!

I do not think it is possible to make everyone happy on this subject. The inclusive spirt list is very inclusive and we pay for that up front. If we want more inclusions WE ALL will pay for that. Personally, I feel no ill will against the policy even if I have to pay for (horrors) my occasional glass of port. Even with such a treat, my bar bill is minimal compared with other cruises. My glass is "half-full" :D

I didn't know whether to reply to this or not.as I don't want to get into anything.

I love Azamara and have happily paid extra for any drink I wanted that was not on the list. (My glass is always half full).

Just wanted to make the point that whilst several brands of whisky, vodka & gin are freely available there is not one brandy.

Having made my point I will shut up!
