Uvero Beach Club?

It's north of the port and it's where ship sponsored excursions for beach breaks and snorkeling typically go. Snorkeling is better than along the malecon but if that's not your thing you might be better off taking a taxi tot he malecon and just hitting one of the better beach clubs, like Tropicante, YaYa or Pez Quadro. No "admission" charge, just purchase some food and/or drink. All these clubs are next to each other, same stretch of beach.
