Ultimate Dining Package

Have only seen it offered twice in some 20 cruises.

That is interesting - would be interested to hear what cruises have sold out (i.e. Caribbean vs Europe vs Alaska???)

We typically board as early as possible and have never had an issue booking it.... BUT I have heard that depending on how booked the restaurants are they might not offer it.

You need to ask, we have never been refused. Cost is still $29/pp/day, available only on day 1 and must be for full cruise duration. The price of $29 was just last month on Eclipse.

We are doing a 10 day cruise on Equinox in February and are booked in Aqua. Any opinion on UDP in addition to having Blu? Since we have four sea days I was thinking the UDP might have greater value. Porch for lunch and breakfast at Blu. I read that previously linked post and it is what got me thinking seriously about it, rather than a 3 or 5 dinner package.

Edit - Just remembered no Porch on Equinox and wondering if they have a lunch option with UDP on that ship.

Bistro on 5 will be concessionary to the UDP. You will also have 1 lunch on a seaday at Tuscan and/or Murano.

I would never do it. I couldn't see spending the extra money for Aqua if I wasn't going to eat in Blu. It is pretty much the only reason to book Aqua except for Persian Gardens.

Actually, it works and the food is so much better in speciality restaurants then blu that I would suggest considering booking a regular balcony cabin and spend the extra money on the unlimited specialty restaurants.

Have dined in blu on a few cruises and the food wasn't up to par- Have really enjoyed luminae-if you are in a suite- or book regular balcony cabins and all in specialty restaurants.
