I'm sailing on the Carnival pride in April with my 1 year old son who is potty trained. I know it is rare in America for babies to be potty trained but it is common in Ghana. I was wonder if they will let him in the pool since he is potty trained?

A 1 year old isn't an "infant"!!! But, if your child IS potty trained, then by all means they are allowed in the pools!

It's not just diapered kids that aren't allowed...incontinent adults may not use the pools, either!

He is allowed. Be prepared to be questioned by staff. DD was 2 & potty trained on our Allure cruise. We were pulled aside and questioned by staff because she did not have a wristband (showing 3 or older). We explained that she was & it was fine.
