pinkrosesdeb Posted March 13, 2016 #2 Share Posted March 13, 2016 Windjammer has a pretty big selection. You will find lox and bagels, they also have great oatmeal, grits, bacon, cooked to order omelets or fried eggs, pancakes, donuts etc. I am not a fan of their already cooked scrambled eggs because they have no real taste. The dining room has a serve yourself buffet as well as a sit down breakfast and you can do both. There is yogurt and fruit and granola on the bar for example and the dining room has my favorite...eggs benedict. Even though I am trying to lose weight I have to have it on a cruise it doesn't seem like a cruise without it. All standard breakfast fare is available as well and you don't have to carry your own tray.
cb at sea Posted March 13, 2016 #3 Share Posted March 13, 2016 Almost ANY breakfast food is available....even in the dining room! You can "mix and match"...get more of this and less of that...it's a win-win thing!
Hawks/Sox/Bears/Bulls Fan Posted March 13, 2016 #4 Share Posted March 13, 2016 The first few days of our Feb 21 cruise, the Windjammer did not set out lox at breakfast. All the fixings were there but no salmon to be found. A table mate at dinner said she requested some and was told it wasn't served until later in the week. After she told the server she eats it at the beginning of the week, a plate appeared. My next cruise I'll ask. It was good lox.
