we will be in Miami in a few days for a cruise. Just wondering if anyone has had problems with pickup, at MIA or port of Miami

If you use the search function you will find several generally positive reviews from cruisers using Uber in Miami

Make sure the u driver knows what you look like and exactly what their car looks like, because, MIA arrival level has six lanes of traffic.

Its like three, two lane roads.

The drivers not in a Taxi, registered limo, car service, van service etc, will not be able to use the closest lanes to the arrival (baggage claim) doors.

Good luck with u.

What fireofficer said is correct. If you do decide to use uber you should take the elevator up to the departure level and wait outside one of the airline signs that you will pre arrange with your driver.

On that level he can come to the closest curb side.
