Lanceloves Posted March 19, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 19, 2016 If I bring a bottle of white to the mdr the first night, will they keep for next night? I was going to bring 1 bottle of white & my husband 1 bottle of red, but I didn't know if they would keep them chilled for us or not? spyingeyes Posted March 19, 2016 #3 Share Posted March 19, 2016 (edited) That is correct here is a corkage fee. We always bring wine to dinner but I would suggest bringing on a couple of quality bottles to make the corkage fee with your effort. Lol, I've seen countless folks bring an $8 dollar bottle and pay more for the fee... Edited March 19, 2016 by spyingeyes
SadieN Posted March 19, 2016 #4 Share Posted March 19, 2016 Could always bring a glass or two in to the MDR with you. Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
Trumpster Posted March 19, 2016 #5 Share Posted March 19, 2016 That's what we do. Early in the cruise we get a couple of wine glasses, ask the steward or bartender for them. Pour wine in your cabin, walk to dinner with them.
Purvis1231 Posted March 19, 2016 #6 Share Posted March 19, 2016 We feel the corkage fee is a good value for the service offered.
Je Souhaite Posted March 19, 2016 #7 Share Posted March 19, 2016 Yes, they will, but I find it a lot easier to do my own pour, and bring the glass into the MDR. Not worth the added expense.
