jordanaire Posted March 19, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 19, 2016 Has anyone used Jiffy Jeff's or QLS for transportation from the airport in FFL to the Port of Miami? If so, what was the experience like? Did either of these two companies make you feel safe? Were they dependable? What was the cost each direction (there will be 2 of us)? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
J18ktleo Posted March 19, 2016 #2 Share Posted March 19, 2016 Try Leon (mypersonaldriver@hotmail.com). He does fantastic service, picked us up at FLL and delivered us to Miami Hotel in a beautiful new van..we were able to message him on our cruise and request multiple 'deliveries' upon our return:from the cruise port took one to Miami airport, one to FLL and one to West Palm!:p He's very responsive and easy to work with! eandj Posted March 19, 2016 #3 Share Posted March 19, 2016 (edited) We used QLS. Very easy and efficient. Newer van and polite safe driver. Cost is $15 per person. (20 if going to a downtown hotel) Book online and all you do is call the number given when you have your bags. The rep will tell you where to find the van and driver. This is a shared shuttle service. Edited March 19, 2016 by eandj
FlaGrl4Evr Posted March 19, 2016 #4 Share Posted March 19, 2016 Another vote for QLS. They were professionals from the initial phone call to the drop- off at the airport, after the cruise. They called us on our cell 10 min prior to pick-up at our FLL hotel, just to let us know they were on their way. The van looked more like a newer mini bus ,giving everyone their own individual seat...it was not like the vans that have the bench seats where they try to squeeze in as many passengers as possible. The driver was polite and considerate, even giving us a mini- tour of the area on the drive over. Once at the port if Miami, he unloaded the bags and pointed out exactly where the post cruise pick- up area would be. After the cruise, QLS called our cell and advised us that the bus was 10 minutes away. They were on time and the whole process was very smooth. I would use them again in a heartbeat... . JohninDC Posted March 19, 2016 #5 Share Posted March 19, 2016 Are you being a smart cruiser and staying the night before your cruise near FLL, or are you flying in the day of your cruise? QLS and other popular shuttles offer hotel pick up (hotels are listed on their web site), saving you a trip back to FLL just to catch your shuttle to POM. No reason for questioning  that anyone that isn't able to fly in pre-cruise isn't being a smart cruiser. Many have to make this decision. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! If you haven't made arrangements then this is another vote for QLS. We used them in November and, because it was a cheap cruise and cheap flights, we had very short windows for getting to and from FLL and POM. QLS was the only service that said it would be no problem and they were right. Fantastic service, nice vans and drivers with excellent communications, I highly recommend them. Sounds like you agree with me that flying in at least one day early is the smart move, but sometime circumstances (work, school, etc.) prevent you from making that move.
