Regarding Hyatt Place: We stayed there about six years ago. At that time we felt like the interior was tired and drab in appearance. There was no landscaping. The pool and hotel was surrounded on all sides by concrete parking lots. It seemed to be a poor comparison to the lush exterior of the Embassy suites near by. It did not give us the feeling of being in south Florida. There was not enough space in the lobby to accommodate the people eating breakfast. I used a copy machine for a table.

 

On the positive side we paid a low price through hot wire and the rooms were very large. We were able to walk to the grocery store (Publix) and buy sodas and beach toys to take on the ship.

Yes the lobby for breakfast is a bit tight when busy
