Excursion disappeared from Carnival site

Not sure with your particulate situation.

My experience with excursions that are sold out is they remain listed but are marked sold out.

On my upcoming sailing of the Splendor in May, Carnival has had multiple issues/glitches with the excursions site. Two of the ports had nothing listed. I was able to view and book excursions for those ports by adding an item to my cart from the port list that was showing, then viewing my cart and clicking continue shopping. Kind of a back door entry but it worked.

Keep trying.

A number of possibilities

Could sold out

Could be sold out for on line purchases but can still be purchased once on board

Could be that Carnival stopped doing business with the vendor

Could be the vendor went out of business

etc.

etc.

it may have been cancelled. Had the same thing happen to me on our Liberty cruise in St Martin. I booked an excursion then all of sudden it was showing a different excursion that i couldn't even pull up and read about as it was not listed. Did n't receive any notification about this change. Then about 1 week later received an email stating that the operator has cancelled this excursion.

 

Had to pick something else entirely.
