Again with the Atlantis Quetions ... Sorry!

I have read through some of the threads but I have a somewhat different question. I know it's going to cost $$$, but our whole point of the cruise is to go to Atlantis for the day. Compromise with a 19 year old for a late spring break.

 

It would appear our ship doesn't leave until the next morning. The cruise excursion only allows for 5 hours at Atlantis. If I get it through Atlantis directly, we would be able to stay a bit longer.

 

So my questions are:

 

Does the taxi take you back to the ship pretty close? Meaning if it is dark we won't walk far?

 

What time would you suggest we leave Atlantis? I know the slides close at dusk, but my son wants to check out the casino too.

 

Any other advise?

You can stay at Atlantis as long as you like but the water slides and pools will be closed and they lights are dimmed in the aquarium. The casino will be open. :)

 

Taxis will drop you off right at the port so no worries.
