There is ladder usually to get in and out of the water. Most things in Bermuda you can do on your own. Here is the Bermuda forum where you will find tons of information. :)

We use Jessie James for snorkeling. Less people, less money.

Every boat is a bit different. Am sure the crew would assist as needed. Another place to visit is the roll call for your ship. Your could ask about specific tours and operators there. Last, Trip Advisor has lotrs of info on tours and there you can get specific info on exactly what you need.

Can anyone tell me about the Catamaran tours? If we go snorkeling how hard is it to get in and out of the boat? What are the best places to visit in Bermuda

On our last trip to Bermuda, we were booked to go snorkeling with Restless Native Catamaran tours. Unfortunately, Bermuda was plagued by three solid days of wind-storms, which made going out on any small craft impossible. But, we did get to meet the skipper (Zander), and hope to be able to book with him again in the future. Just google the name, and it should take you to their website. If you don't see the answers to your questions there, they do have contact information -- and, are prompt about replies. Good luck !

Would you mind telling us what time of year that was? Thanks.

Mario -- It was late May, last year. We had beautiful seas on the way down from Cape Liberty. But, when we arrived in Bermuda, we encountered winds that I can only compare to the Santa Ana's in Southern Calif. No let-up the whole time we were there. It got so bad that some of the ferries were canceled (you can just imagine how crowded the buses got). Locals said that the winds were unusual for that time of year.

On the other hand, the first week of June was beautiful in Bermuda, but rainy when we left Cape Liberty.

Thanks. I sure hope we don't experience the same thing this year!
