Casino Chips

Silly question. But anyone accidentally leave the ship without cashing in their poker chips from the casino. I'm guessing there is no way to cash the chips?

You can call Post Cruise Customer Service 1-800-256-6649

At least one person has reported that they were able to mail in the chips and Royal sent them a check.

RCCL does not cash chips in by mail any more. You would either have to sail again or give to friend s to cash out.

I walked off the Liberty of the Seas on 2010 with a $100 chip. When I called after I got home I was told that RCI had recently changed the policy and no longer allowed people to mail in their chips. I am sailing on the Navigator on April 16, my first RCI cruise since 2010. I'll be bringing the chip, but I don't know what kind of response I'll get when I stroll up to the casino cage. The phrase, "Sorry, sir, but no" comes to mind.

On multiple occasions I have gotten home to find a few chips left in a pocket. I've never had an issue using them on the next cruise within the same line. (included a $100 chip once. One time a dealer did call a pit boss to make sure it was ok to take one.) I would not walk up to the cage and point out that the chip is from a prior cruise and/or different ship, just use at the table with other chips.

Actually, on one occasion, someone sent me their chips and I cashed them in and mailed the money back to the person. I put the caveat in for them that IF RCI wouldn't cash them, I would mail the chips back (at their expense) so as not to put in question IF they cashed them for me.

Think of the chips as on board credit for your next RCCL cruise

I have walked of every ship I have been on with a $1 chip from the casino. It was the least expensive souvenir I could find on the ship :D.

I also have a selection, even have some 50 cent chips, have several different lines and some have ships name on them.

I've only cruised on RCI. Every chip has a picture of the ship it came off of.

You are correct all my RCCL chips had ships, so did Costa and Hal, my NCL and Princess did not. Need to get a Liberty chip in a few weeks

I wonder if I can cash this one in that I found last week while doing some spring cleaning? No ship on this one, from my first cruise ever.

Wow, I hope you cashed those in after you took the pictures otherwise I would just stick with the red ones.

Wow, I am glad I stuck with the $5 ones instead of the $100 and $500 that you collected.
