ms Maasdam and ms Veendam Sail-Away April 9, 2016

The first time I saw the Veendam in person was while she was doing Bermuda from New York. I was leaving on QM2 the next day and saw Veendam headed down the Hudson Tooting like crazy at some sailboats getting in the way. The scene in Ft. Lauderdale reminds me of that.

 

Looks like movement.

I believe we had a medical emergency that delayed us an hour.

 

Post drydock: ship in great condition. New carpet, reburb elevators except rail fell off while in it. New napkins at Lido look like dish towels and new LARGE juice glasses at breakfast. Yea.
