We were on Equinox in March of this year and purchased an iPad Air 2 while on board. There were no iPhones available.

 

Just a hint....we wanted a 128G iPad but there were none available on board. It just so happened that Silhouette was with us in St Maarten and we asked if, by chance, they had what we were looking for. They did, so the Equinox ILounge retrieved our product from Silhouette while we were in St Maarten.

 

Celebrity does not normally carry a lot of stock on board, so if you see something you want...don't wait too long or it will be gone.

 

The pricing is not a whole lot different from land prices, but for us, we had a lot of on board credit and this purchase made perfect sense.

Duty free -- yes in general [certain cruises that run afoul of the EU version of the PSVA/Jones Act have to charge VAT on all onboard purchases -- but the cruise lines do their best to stop at a non-EU port to avoid this].
