qdog123 Posted April 18, 2016 #1 Share Posted April 18, 2016 I tried googling the heck out of this cabin and couldn't come up with any info. This is the cabin directly next to the District Brew House. Looking to see exactly how loud everyone thinks this could be. I booked a gty and was hoping for something on deck 8 so we could be close to the District, but I was anticipating being this close! I guess I might be able to go for the record of 84 different beers consumed in the week as I won't have to go far to pass out, lol! Any insight is greatly appreciated
qdog123 Posted May 15, 2016 Author #2 Share Posted May 15, 2016 For anyone who thinks they'd be interested in winning the District Beer Challage, then this cabin is perfect. It turns out it's a very quiet location as there are door between it and the back door to the District and it's just super convenient overall to everything there is to do on decks 6,7 and 8. The good news is I won the beer challenge this week (actually tied wiht Mark from Maine). A quick note on the beer challange. I drank all 85 beers that were available, but they only chocked me up for 76 so you need to stay on top of it. It only lists results once a day, and the bartenders cannot look up what beers you've ordered so if they miss one, or ring it in wrong, you have no idea... It was a great time though! Arecibotraveler Posted August 30, 2017 #3 Share Posted August 30, 2017 Thanks for the cabin info. Just upgraded from studio cabin to balcony and was assigned this one. Even though I love beer I was worry of noise been so close to the Brew House.
Rare sid_9169 Posted August 30, 2017 #4 Share Posted August 30, 2017 This cabin shares a wall with the DBH, which often has music until pretty late, no way I would ever chance the noise factor...
Rare BirdTravels Posted August 30, 2017 #5 Share Posted August 30, 2017 Expect the booming bass from the music in the bar. You challenge will be to stay out of your room until the music stops in the bar.
Tiggertastic Posted August 30, 2017 #6 Share Posted August 30, 2017 Get the pump lines diverted to to your cabin. Hey it's not far to stumble back though. Sent from my iPad using Forums
qdog123 Posted August 31, 2017 Author #7 Share Posted August 31, 2017 I can attest that I never heard any music from the brew house. It was also convienient having access to my own bathroom so close to everything rather than having to use the public restrooms, lol. Also great location to watch people play shuffleboard from the balcony.

barb65 Posted November 21, 2017 #9 Share Posted November 21, 2017 Let us know after your cruise how you liked/disliked it. We're on Deck 8 for a Bermuda cruise next summer and looking forward to it being so close to everything!
lovebears Posted November 6, 2022 #10 Share Posted November 6, 2022 Looking for any pictures of the balcony Cabin 8162 and if there is an obstructed view as close as it is to the Brew House. Thanks!
