spitz Posted April 21, 2016 #1 Share Posted April 21, 2016 Do any cruise lines offer the hearing assisted Quiet Vox/Whisper systems on shore excursions BESIDES on river cruises? We are looking for a ship that would sail the Rome-Barcelona route.

Rare cruisemom42 Posted April 21, 2016 #3 Share Posted April 21, 2016 I know that Voyages to Antiquity offer the Quiet Vox system for all their tours. They are a small niche cruise line with one ship (~350 passengers); they do a variety of Mediterranean itineraries for about 8 months of the year. Rare Essiesmom Posted April 21, 2016 #4 Share Posted April 21, 2016 Tours are run by local vendors, not the ship, so it is up to them whether or not they use those types of systems. EM
Rare cruisemom42 Posted April 21, 2016 #5 Share Posted April 21, 2016 (edited) Tours are run by local vendors, not the ship, so it is up to them whether or not they use those types of systems. EM In the case of Voyages to Antiquity, the systems are provided to each passenger by the cruise line. There is a charger in each cabin, and you keep it with you. Guides at the local ports are given one to use for the duration of the tour. Edited April 21, 2016 by cruisemom42
