Balcony Dinner with no balcony

Really loved the balcony dinner for my birthday on the Royal.

But if have an inside cabin is there a way to still get this balcony dinner? Can you have it some place else?

They will bring it to your non-balcony room if that is what you want. Have never heard of being served anywhere else.

We have done the Balcony Dinner inside 3 out of 4 times due to wind or cold. Enjoyed it all 3 times. If the cabin has room for a 3'x3' table and 2 chairs, it's certainly doable.

It's worth asking when you go on board. They will bring a little table. Is there room in the cabin for the little table? Are there two chairs in your room? Balcony cabins have two chairs which we used to sit at the little table the two times we did it. If your room does not have two chairs, I see no reason why they couldn't bring them.

 

In summary, I think the question is whether there is room in your cabin. There is no down-side to calling them and asking when you board.

We have done the Balcony Dinner 4 times, each time inside our mini-suite due to weather. Not sure if it can be done in an inside cabin. I agree, call and ask Princess..............enjoy!

Personally,I would rather have a dinner at a specialty restaurant at a table with a view.

We had friends we met on the cruise who had ordered the Balcony Dinner but it was very windy/rainy so it was served to them inside.

Makes me think you could order it without a balcony.

I don't see why they couldn't deliver a "Balcony Dinner" to any location on the ship as long as it didn't interfere with the ships operation.
