Captains Lounge

Recommended Posts

Last year me and my wife went on our first cruise and we purchased faster to the fun, and the instructions stated for us to go to the captains lounge after check in. Well we never saw a captains lounge. Can anyone tell us where the Captains Lounge is because we are cruising again in October from Tampa Bay on the Carnival Paradise and we purchased F2F again, and would like to take advantage of this "Captains Lounge". Thanks for the help. #Cruisin-on-my-mind

The Captain's Lounge is located shoreside in Miami at the port. After security and check in, you can go in there for snacks and a drink prior to boarding, if you want. BTW, FTTF sometimes get to use it and other times don't. Usually it is only for people in suites or those who are Diamond and Platinum on Carnival.

Like SuiteTraveler said, don't count on getting to use it. We had FTTF on our last cruise out of FLL and did not get to sit in the lounge. FTTF were directed to, and sat in, a waiting area off the main part of the terminal. Some had to stand as they ran out of chairs. Not a big deal but no lounge.

We’re sailing from Long Beach to the Mexican Riviera today. We’re Platinum with CCL and we’re told to proceed to the Captain’s Club to wait to board. The chairs are comfortable but it is packed. There are no beverages or snacks here. It’s a bit disappointing. At least with NCL we receive refreshments. Hoping Carnival changes this in the future.
