cruising from NOLA, or San Fran

we are looking into our next cruise and looking at march/april 2018. we would love to incorporate some land time in New Orleans or Sanfrancisco with a cruise taking in western caribbean or mexican riviera but can not see any cruises on nil website beyond this year.

 

does any know if they will stop sailing from these ports? or can point us in the direction of what itineraries are running in 2018?

Haven't spent much time to see what is all out for 2018 but NCL does not typically sail out of SFO very much. When they do, it is usually some type of repo like a Pacific Coastal between seasons so like late April and mid-September.

 

As far as NOLA, the Dawn has been doing that route lately in Spring.

We have cruised on the DAWN out of NOLA twice, with a third coming up this Sunday. We love New Orleans, its an old city with a lot of history.

We sailed out of New Orleans on the Star a couple of years ago. The city was great for pre cruise activities and sailing down the Mississippi was simply fascinating.

We were on the Dawn repositioning cruise from Boston to New Orleans in November 2014. Spending 3 days in NO after the cruise was awesome.

Awesome. New Orleans looks like an awesome city to spend pre or post cruise so we are a little disappointed to see no regular itinerary departing from there. The May 8th 2016 Dawn departure to western Caribbean looks perfect, but coming from the UK the costs of flying into one airport and home from a different one are astronomical so rules out repo's :-(

Sorry, I misunderstood, I am on that cruise and I cant wait!! My first 10 day cruise!!
