Formal night and tour specific to MSC question

Howdy, sailing on the Divina to the Caribbean in a week. Have a couple of questions if you don't mind.

1) Formal night(s) Two? Or one? How do most cruisers dress that night? Is a jacket (as opposed to a suit) Okay for men? For women, dressy slacks and evening wear top okay?

2) Did anyone take the MSC tour out to Marigot in Sint Maarten? Did you get back in time to walk around Philipsburg? Was it safe there and walking back to the ship after dark?

8 days. Seemed like the cruise was a lifetime away not long ago.

Thanks!

Two formal nights on a 7 night MSC Divina sailing Big Steve. You'll see everything from tuxedos to polo shirts,,,wear what's comfortable,,,business casual is the way I approach formal nights. I can't comment on your excursion in St. Maarten,,we always head over to Orient Beach and then Maho,,,

Currently on Divina. Do not remember seeing a tux, but second formal is tonight. The women dress up more than the men. There is a White night, when you are encouraged to wear white, and an Italian night, when red, green, white is encouraged. The rest are smart casual, and that divides itself into Women: Smart; Men: Casual. EM
