Oakman58 Posted May 9, 2017 #26 Share Posted May 9, 2017 Although the bathroom setup didn’t bother my wife and me, perhaps I should say we made it work for us. I can certainly understand how that bathroom setup would bother others. I wouldn’t be happy with a bathroom with frosted glass and just a curtain if I was traveling with a son or daughter or other relative. Many of us prefer a high degree of privacy when sitting on a toilet. There is no way I will cruise on the Epic again. The cabin bathroom is just one of many things I didn’t like about the ship. grouchomarx Posted May 9, 2017 #28 Share Posted May 9, 2017 This is a great video/description of it. It didn't bother us in the slightest, although we used the balcony often in order to offer the offending party as much privacy as possible. WOW I was not aware of what it really looked like. It's quite horrible IMO. I would not want that setup. Why on earth do they choose frosted glass for the door to a toilet or shower? How about a solid material offering total privacy? Yuck. Super yuck.
Tiggertastic Posted May 9, 2017 #29 Share Posted May 9, 2017 Having connecting studios works well with friends. The door between is open during the day and when you want privacy you use the toilet and shower in your cabin can snore too without waking the other.
