AdoraBelle Posted May 15, 2016 #1 Share Posted May 15, 2016 Have googled but getting conflicting answers. Some CC threads say yes for magnetic walls on GA, but someone on this page says no: http://answers.ncl.com/answers/4066/category/GETAWAY/norwegian-getaway-questions-answers/questions.htm?page=5&sort=recentq&dir=asc Would love to know specifically about the studio cabins. queenschick9b Posted May 15, 2016 #2 Share Posted May 15, 2016 Curious about the answer to this since it would be the same for the Breakaway.

AdoraBelle Posted May 15, 2016 Author #4 Share Posted May 15, 2016 No. Only the inside of the door. Thanks! That should be enough for me to make use of a few magnetic clips.
Sleepylove83 Posted May 18, 2016 #5 Share Posted May 18, 2016 I was able to hang stuff on the outside wall of the toilet area across from the bed next to the cabin door. I attached a pic not sure if i did it correctly and not sure why my email sent it sideways.
OCruisers Posted May 18, 2016 #6 Share Posted May 18, 2016 The walls are not actually magnetic. Because they are metal, magnets will stick to them. :)
Tinyturtle22 Posted May 18, 2016 #7 Share Posted May 18, 2016 (edited) The walls are not actually magnetic. Because they are metal, magnets will stick to them. :) No. "What materials are magnetic? Materials that can be magnetized, which are also the ones that are strongly attracted to a magnet, are called ferromagnetic (or ferrimagnetic). These include iron, nickel, cobalt, some alloys of rare earth metals, and some naturally occurring minerals such as lodestone." GUT2407 Posted May 18, 2016 #8 Share Posted May 18, 2016 No. "What materials are magnetic? That's right those things can be magnetised, but they aren't magnetic till they have been, metal (say walls in a ship cabin) isnt of itself necessarily magnetic just capable of being magnetised. Tinyturtle22 Posted May 18, 2016 #9 Share Posted May 18, 2016 Being magnetic and being "A magnet" are two different things.
