Xport Posted May 16, 2016 #26 Share Posted May 16, 2016 (edited) Our last cruise on the summit in a c2, the Stewart never service our room more then once a day. Which we considered a miss considering carnival even does it twice a day. Suggest that Carnival Cruise Line has recently adopted "once a day" cabin service... You may want to scan through that forum... And in fact, there has been recent chatter on other "Carnival Corporation" cruise line forums--Princess comes to mind--in which members are conjecturing as to whether or not the "once a day" cabin service model might be implemented on sister lines... Sorry for your experience on Summit... I sail Celebrity frequently--and I've done so recently--and have never had cabin service less than twice per day... If you sail Celebrity again with the same experience, do--by all means--ask... Edited May 16, 2016 by Xport

People can chatter all they want, but the only thing that matters is, will people change lines, or quit cruising altogether if the once a day turndown is implemented. My guess is no. They've done a lot crazier things than that and the people keep coming back for more. They should milk their cutbacks until they meet financial resistance then ease off.
