12 of us just got off the Glory and had an amazing time. I'll give you a short review of the ship, food and activities.

First I am going to answer a few questions that I have seen on the boards a few times.....

Room service....we had our rooms made up 2x a day. No card to fill out.

Our mini fridge was full and our safe was digital as opposed to a swipe card (which I LOVED).

I brought on 8 16oz Monsters without any questions.

I had FTTF and boarding was easy as can be. Arrived at Port of Miami at 10am and was directed to check in. The check in process took maybe 10 minutes and then we sat and watched others getting off the boat. Around 1130 we were told they were trying to get the last 60 guest off board. I knew this meant things were about to get crazy for boarding so I went over to where we would board. Around 12 or so they lead Platinum and Diamond members on. It was then Opened to FTTF. I was on the Lido deck enjoying a cold drink in no time.

Dinning experience: We had early dinning in the Platinum dinning room and sat at table 400. Marijan was our head waiter and he was amazing. The service was super fast and friendly. I like the American Table. There wasn't a time that I didn't find anything I wanted. I enjoyed all the shrimp entrees but my favorite meal of the week was the stuffed mushrooms. My husband upgraded to the Filet 3 nights because it was so perfectly cooked. I have zero complaints in the dining room and actually enjoyed not having table clothes:)

Bar Service: The alchemy bar is amazing!! I hate to even spread the word because many times it wasn't busy. I never ordered off the menu and just told them to make me their favorite drink. He would call them "something simple" or "something special" but they were all amazing. Some group favorites were Tokyo Tea and Pirate Punch.

Casino: oh the casino.....we spend a lot of time in the casino. My husband was awarded a "drinks on us card" but we had cheers already. On day 2 my husband was up about $1,100 and by day 4 he was down $400. Lots of time playing black jack and craps for both of us. I have never been offered free drinks on past cruises but the pit boss on this one never let me have an empty hand. I'm sure it's a benefit to them to keep me gambling and it sure worked!!

Cheers Program: it's always worth the money for us. We start drinking around 9am and don't stop till after 2am so it's very easy to drink 15 drinks. Many nights we started buying 1 drink on cheers and paying for a round for friends because everyone was low on drinks. I loved being able to get Powerade as Powerade Zero and Vodka became my drink of the day to eliminate heartburn. The energy drinks, coffee and milkshakes were all a huge plus as well.

Excursions:

Cayman Islands- Snuba. It was so much fun however it was right off the shore so I felt the water was a little more cloudy then normal. It was a carnival based excursion and went off perfectly. If you haven't went Snuba diving I would recommend it. It is my second time and I will do it again.

Isla Roatan: we booked a private excursion through Victor. We went to the monkey farm and then a really nice beach for a couple hours. The vendors were a little overwhelming however we scored a pair of "Oakley" sunglasses for $20. It was a super short walk to find victor then we packed into a bus like sardines and headed out.

Belize: Cave tubbing through Cavetubbing bz. They met us on the pier and we headed out. David was our tour guide and his witty sense of humor was perfect. The caves are an experience that I can not describe. They are beautiful and huge. After we were fed a dinner of chicken and rice that was delicious.

Cozumel: Mr. Sanchoes. Our group booked directly through the website, caught a cab for $36 (8 people) and took the 10 minute ride to paradise. The workers were so hard working and could often be seen running to get drinks and food. We tipped very well, our server Elvis was the hardest working person I have ever seen. Never once was bothered by our drink or food request. $55 all inclusive and the food was very good (buffet and menu ordering) and the drinks weren't bad either.

Complaints: I have 2 complaints. The first is the bar service in the casino, dinning room and comedy club was painfully slow. On my past cruises it never seemed that bad. The servers were very polite I just think short staffed. The second complaint is simply the amount of rude people on the ship. I could not believe how rude some people were to the staff. I was embarrassed for them. I just wanted to say "be nice and would it kill you to say please and thank you!!!"

Sorry so long.....I will answer any questions I can. I'm sure I am leaving a to out:) It was such a great week!!

Great little review! I will be sailing the Glory in less than a month and will have to check out that alchemy bar ;)

I am getting cheers as well and was worried about drink service times. Were the other bars better? Like the lido deck ones, are they pretty fast? I know the comedy club one gets stampeded before the shows and the dining room is always slow. Sad to hear the casino one wasn't very fast though.

I found at the comedy show I would walk to the bar and get a drink before the show then order one right before the show started. That way I had two drinks for the show. It worked perfect. Try the punchliner it was delicious!! Comedy shows were so so funny. We had Happy Cole, June, a chubby white guy who were all funny. We had one bad show in 7 days so can't complain at all.

The aft pool (the quiet adult only one) on the lido deck had a bar that was NEVER busy and made good drinks.

While at the casino I found it quicker to walk to the casino bar on the non smoking side and get a drink. Much faster then waiting on a waitress/waiter and feeling like you had to wait for them when you wanted to move!!

Lol! Right!! A couple other things I thought of. The HUB app was amazing. All 12 of us had it were able to text each other on the boat. It worked amazing to meet up for shows and discuss times to get off the boat!!

Alex the entertainment director was my favorite person. Attractive and funny:)

Deli is open till 11pm!! If your tired of pizza and want a yummy after dinner snack try the deli. They have all beef hotdogs you can make into chili cheese dogs. I didn't try them but they looked great.
