Going on the Breakaway May 22 and when I did our online check in I had to choose a time. I got one time but my hubby and kids got 2 hours later!! Ridiculous. They have to come with me. We can't get separate rides! Ugh! Any experience with this?? Thanks!

The assigned times are a farce- it always works out to be either first come first served, or boarding in accordance with random number cards handed out as you show up. When we arrived at the Manhattan terminal for our Gem cruise in February we were given a number in the 30's - I asked if we could have a lower number and got it swapped for a 15. When we got to the check in desk I asked again as I saw a stack of cards on the clerk's desk - and were given a 6.

The first group called were 1 to 5 - and we were in the second group called several minutes later. I figure we saved at least a half hour by simply asking for lower numbers.
