Best deck for JS on Oasis

Booking the 5 night cruise on Oasis for December 18th. First time on Oasis. What deck is best for a JS as far as location? Thanks.

Not aware of any universal "best".

 

We would prefer deck 8 for Central Park convenience, but have been on deck 10 and deck 12 before, which were fine. I would avoid deck 14 to minimize potential for pool deck noise.

Look at the deck plans and decide where you want to spend time and book the cabin on the closest deck to that area

Deck 8, cabin 8240 or 8640. Non connecting hump. :D

The only thing left on 8 is connecting JS. Do you foresee a problem with any of those? 9244 or 9644.

I would not have a problem with those. Nicely located hump staterooms.

I had a JS on deck 6 and loved it. The promenade was 1 deck down (took the stairs), Boardwalk same deck and 2 decks up to Central Park (deck 8).

I always book on deck 6 on Oasis. You're closer to the water on the balcony and you can walk down one flight to the main promenade. You're on the same level as the Boardwalk and the theatre is 2 floors below. It just always seems like the most efficient deck for me.

I like the ones with the bigger balcony. I would take one of those even if it was a connected cabin.

Agree. Connecting cabin in JS or above is NOT an issue at all. We've booked a number of them.
