snoopy5386 Posted May 30, 2016 #1 Share Posted May 30, 2016 Looking to find a small group whale watch that accepts kids, we have two ages 10 and 6. We only have a group of 3, possibly 4 so not enough to book a boat. Would love recommendations.

pizzalady1 Posted May 30, 2016 #3 Share Posted May 30, 2016 (edited) I haven't used them but bookmarked them for future use: http://www.jayleensalaska.com Jayleen is "Harv's" or maybe "Marv's" daughter which ever is Jay. She is getting a good rep. Edited May 30, 2016 by pizzalady1
peety3 Posted May 30, 2016 #4 Share Posted May 30, 2016 I've seen younger kids on several of the whale watches we've done with Gastineau Guiding. On the "photo safari" tours they also provide a disposable film camera for the kids.
mapleleaves Posted May 30, 2016 #5 Share Posted May 30, 2016 On Harv and Marv's FAQ page there's a link to their minimum age policy. In that policy they provide the names of 2 vendors who take kids under 13. Check out those 2 vendors to see what size boat they use, as well as other details of their trip. Otherwise go to the town web site and check out each vendor. There aren't hundreds so not an impossible task.
judy1960 Posted May 30, 2016 #6 Share Posted May 30, 2016 I don't know about ages but I was very happy with Weather Permitting. I have also sent two other couples with them and they had a good experience also.
