how does an ultra premiere cruise differ from a premiere cruise?

Basically everything's the same Except the Ultra guests get a high end gift....there have been items like a 60 inch tv, iPhone6 , IPad, Gold Watch, gift cards and more

 

I got my Ultra invite today which included $600 cash but I can't make it .....I'm already sailing on the Vista Oct 1st on a premier

They can be found under your VIFP special offers online.

 

In order to qualify for the Ultra offer you must have qualified for and taken one of the Premier cruises during the year. To get the premier offers you need to accumulate at least 7500 points in the casino during the previous 12 months.

I seen the offer in our VFIP section and received a mailer in the mail yesterday. We booked the 27 Nov date on the Breeze. This will be our second ULTRA cruise.

 

We have never been on a regular Premiere cruise, but i can say the ULTRA is a really great time. They have some fantastic giveaways and events. Usually get daily goodies as well (Strawberries in your room, bottle of wine, Steakhouse comp, etc)

 

Last year talking to others on the ULTRA, they say they fill up quick, so if you are on the fence, book it! it's a great time.

this is exact same for a premier cruise, the draws for cash each evening, games take it or leave it and many others, strawberries, wine, special gift at end maybe towels, portfolios, hot seat promos, slot tourneys for premier guests only etc BUT.. what makes premier and ultra different.... i cant figure it out.. maybe someone knows

 

i have a premier and an ultra offer now... they are even worded differently, sure the sail dates may differ but what makes one of them an ultra... anyone know?

My ULTRA offer does not mention casino cash, just "up to" $100.000 in prizes and give aways.

 

On a premium booking, I just go to the casino cashier's window and get my gambling "rebate". Is it the same on an Ultra?

I didn't say higher casino cash. The Ultras have higher dollar type prize giveaways.

My offer has the free room and casino cash. Same as last year. Since I have not been on an regular Premier cruise, I don't know the difference. Last year, others said the prizes were much better on the ULTRA. Apple Watches, iPads, iPhones, MacBooks, etc. Everyone one with the ULTRA invite (not their guest/spouse) was guaranteed one of these prizes.

 

So, i assume it's the same format as the Premier, just better prizes and more money given away.

 

The 'grand prize' that was given was the ELITE cruise that included Cruise in a suite, Spa, Excursions, etc.

 

If I had to choose between Premier and Ultra, I would do the ULTRA.

If a husband and wife BOTH receive the Ultra Premiere Cruise offer and book the trip, don't BOTH people receive the $$ and ALL of the gifts including the big dollar items even though they share the same cabin? That is what we have been told.

I was on an Ultra cruise last year and met a couple that were both sent the Ultra offer and they both received a high end gift. You would have to check with the casino department about the cash back, as it is based on your individual play.

So, not being a gambler, how does one accumulate 7500 points in the casino? Is it based on how much you play, win or lose? Or how much you've spent? Just curious.
