We were put up at Hotel Collectioneur Arc de Triomphe. Location was great, about 7 min walk to metro, 15 min walk to Arc de Triomphe, 30 min walk to Opera. Food obviously not as good as on the boat - set menu with no choices but plenty of wine. Avalon made the best of a bad situation that they had no control over. I was happy with what they did.

lovely! Are the batteaux mouche sailing again on the Seine? I hope you enjoy your time in Paris and thanks for the live updates. I feel relieved now.
