How to delete messages on NCL Web site?

Does anyone know how to delete the "Mail" - "Messages" from your account on NCL. I have about 12 from 2014-15 I would like to delete. I've spoken with two people from NCL and they did not know how.

I had three which finally went away after my cruise in March. Then I booked two more cruises and now they're back. Like you, I haven't been able to find a way to delete them.

They are not messages.

 

They are advertisements and you cannot delete them.

 

That message center is not used for any important communications whatsoever. Anything you want to know will be done via e-mail.

This is stupid. Every time I log in, I have a message alert. I read it and hit the x but it is still there. NCL website leaves a lot to be desired. Same is true for the mobile app.

Best not to respond to 6 year old messages about a user interface which has changed 4 or 5 times since.

Is it OK to respond if you take the opportunity to point out that someone else responded to an old thread?
