So, with just like 8 days left, I thought I'd ask if anyones been on Fantasy lately who can give me a few final words of advice...

I've been away for a few weeks, hectic work schedules, but its amazing all the people who I remember being 50 days away, now we're all down in the single digits, and I haven't even started packing yet! :-O

No advice, just enjoy her and be gentle.

It's been a few years but she was my first. I remember coming down the highway and when we topped a small rise in the road, I saw her for the very first time. She looked beautiful. She had such sleek lines. She fed me well, tucked me in at night, and provided me with such wonderful beverages.

I think I was in Love.

We'll be on her for our first cruise on 13-17 Nov. Apparently we're the only ones! LOL. No one else has posted here or on roll call for this cruise that I can find. Anyway, could you tell she's been in drydock? Almost no one posts reviews about her anymore. There are several older ones, but the latest I could find was around July.

I just saw her a week ago. I was on the Disney Wonder. She is still lookin great! It has been a couple of years since I was on her, in 2003 and 2001. Had a great time. I like Carnival. In fact I havea couple of Carnival cruises booked for 2006.

Happy Sailings

We were on the Fantasy last week. The ship is in beautiful shape. Our cabin (oceanview on the Riviera deck) was comfortable and near the elevators (no noise). We had fun in the casino and went to one of the shows which we enjoyed. The food was great. The pizza and deli shouldn't be missed. Our cabin steward, Curtis, and our waiter Bobby and his assistant Valentina, made sure we were well taken care of.

We had some rough seas coming back home on Saturday night (Oct. 15th), and I was bothered a bit by the motion, but I just crawled into the bed and was rocked to sleep by the sea.

The comfy chaises on the Promenade deck are the greatest indoor spot for reading or taking a little nap. We thoroughly enjoyed our cruise aboard the Fantasy.

Enjoy!

Not on the Fantasy myself, but we leave the same day you do from the Conquest in Galveston. From one military "family" to another, have an absolutely fabulous cruise! I've been following your trials and tribulations and I know you're gonna have an absolutely great time.

Enjoy!

We were in R70. We really like the location because it was so close to the elevators. I've never stayed in a cabin in the forward part of a ship before. I really didn't have any trouble with motion until the last night and it was rockin' and rollin' all over the ship.

Hey Joe and other cruisers,

LW and I are sailing on the same cruise (30 Oct). Looking forward to seeing the newly refurbished ship. We sailed on the Glory last May and on the Sensation (sister ship of Fantasy)last year in April. I am glad to see you starting your cruising at young age. LW and I just started last year and are absolute cruise-a-holics. Enjoy yourself.

BTW - USAF '75 - '79.
