Flag Day (and the Army's birthday) was this week. Kind of cold and blustery in Portland, Or, it's not summer yet! Maybe next week.

 

 

 

These pictures showed me a dirty sensor, so I ordered a cleaning kit and took care of it.

 

 

We don't often get thunderstorms here, but when we do they are almost always accompanied by hail.

A little web searching identified these clouds as cirrocumulus stratiformis which is latin for "little puffy clouds way, way up there". Or not. Anyway, I like patterns and the palms against the patterned sky took my mind off the first 100°+ day of the year...if just for a moment.
