Pre-cruise gift for 13 yr old boy

I'm looking to buy a pre-cruise gift for my 13 yr old grandson. We'll be taking him on a cruise next May (Harmony) and would like to buy him a cruise type gift for his birthday. Any ideas ??

He would probably rather have money to use to play the video games on the ship.

Depending on where you're going. Caribbean, a snorkel & underwater camera (Fuji has one about $100); Alaska, a decent pair of binoculars or again the Fuji camera (good for -10F & underwater).

I have 3 sons, currently ages 22, 17 and 12 so I have a pretty good idea of what a 13 year old boy would like for a cruise vacation, LOL.

 

The answer is: money for the arcade! Make up a voucher for him on the computer telling him he has X amount to spend in the arcade on his cruise account. :)
