GiftieEtcetera Posted June 13, 2016 #1 Share Posted June 13, 2016 Other than walking, what are the workout options on the Dream? Classes? Equipment? How much do they cost?

GiftieEtcetera Posted June 18, 2016 Author #5 Share Posted June 18, 2016 That's excellent news. I went on the Dream two years ago, but had my kids with me and didn't work out. This time, I plan to!
RHilla619 Posted June 18, 2016 #6 Share Posted June 18, 2016 Carnival's gyms are awesome! Obviously not as big as a gym on land, but I consider myself a gym rat (I workout 5x a week) and found the gyms on Fantasy and Splendor to be great! You can also use the ports as a good opportunity to get a run in, when I stopped in San Juan which isn't exactly a beach port which is what I like to do, I went for a nice long run throughout old san juan, its was pretty cool! Micahs Grandad Posted June 18, 2016 #7 Share Posted June 18, 2016 One nice thing about waking is deck 5 goes all around the ship. 2 1/2 turns is a mile:) Wish all ships had this
kylesplash Posted July 6, 2016 #8 Share Posted July 6, 2016 I love using the treadmills on cruise ships, it's like you are running on the ocean. Amazing view!!

tandemcruzr Posted July 7, 2016 #10 Share Posted July 7, 2016 Smoke hole??? I assume you are talking about the smoking area on deck. Never had to hold my breath. I walk early in the morning and the ship is moving. Don't even notice the smoke as it dissipates rapidly.

tea4ular Posted July 7, 2016 #12 Share Posted July 7, 2016 My best friend & I do yoga and we found several places on the ship (other than the gym) to set up and do our thing...including those "secret" decks - we borrowed mats from the gym (and returned them the last evening) - I also use the stairs exclusively and that deck 5 promenade is heaven for my 3 miles a day! asalligo Posted February 2, 2017 #16 Share Posted February 2, 2017 Walking works for me, I walk to the buffet, the Main Dining Room, the steakhouse. Somehow I gained 6 pounds on my cruise.
sb4ever Posted February 3, 2017 #17 Share Posted February 3, 2017 Is Deck 5 slick in the early morning? Husband and I are runners and 2.5 laps to a mile is much better than the 9-10 on the track!
