Cruizen Susan Posted June 14, 2016 #26 Share Posted June 14, 2016 Did you notice any Gluten Free options in the Café? The only gluten free option, and they are amaaazing, are the macaroons. They change them daily, from chocolate, chocolate chip, vanilla, raspberry, etc, for about 7 days or so. Then start over with the flavors. Highly recommend! Chocolate Igloo with non-fat milk if weather is too hot!

phillygirl2400 Posted June 14, 2016 #32 Share Posted June 14, 2016 My sister loves a lemon tart with tea - after dinner. I'm more of a latte and cheese Danish first thing in the morning kind of person. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Jack Staff Posted June 14, 2016 #34 Share Posted June 14, 2016 (edited) The pasties etc are free but the beverage (tea; coffee etc) are chargeable - but the are included in the drinks packages -the classic package does the job! Sparky100 Posted June 14, 2016 #35 Share Posted June 14, 2016 Do they have any lactose/dairy free options in cafe el baccio as my husband is lactose intolerant and often misses out on sweet treats!
fantasy51 Posted June 14, 2016 #36 Share Posted June 14, 2016 I agree with you, CruisingChick. I think these cakes are much better than the dessert options. I am generally disappointed with desserts on cruises, though I found Celebrity's desserts to be better than Cunard's. However, Cafe al Bacio has wonderful hot chocolate and lovely lemon tarts. I think often the other cakes look better than they taste.

I really enjoy the raspberry or strawberry cakes. Edited June 15, 2016 by smtcan
Viva_la_Vida Posted June 15, 2016 #41 Share Posted June 15, 2016 I have to say, this place was the #1 thing I missed not sailing Celebrity to Bermuda this time around. NCL just doesn't do coffee and dessert like Celebrity!
