Wine in specialty dining venues

I know I have seen a reference to this on one of the threads, but my search didn't find it. If we go to a specialty restaurant for dinner, can we bring a bottle of wine which we brought aboard, for them to open and serve to us?

Yes. We have done that several times and they gladly open, chill, and serve it to you without a corkage fee.

Wow - that will make a dinner at Chops or Giovanni's even more special. We have occasions coming up on each of our next two cruises, and will plan to take our wine with us. Thank you for your quick response.
