Blocked balcony with upper berth

I keep seeing on here that the balcony is not accessible when the upper berth is pulled down in the mini suites (that accommodate 4 people). How inaccessible is the balcony? Is it that you can't open the door? That you can't walk out the door? Could you stoop or crawl to get out?

We are traveling with our 8yo and 10yo children and would like to enjoy the balcony in the evenings after they go to bed. We are in C336 on the Regal.

Crawling might work if you can reach the door latch with the bed lowered.

We have had no problem bending over to walk under the upper bed to open the balcony door. When we were on the Regal Princess, our cabin had the sofa plus the upper bed made up each night. For that we just rolled across the sofa to open the door to the balcony. Will have this same set up for our Dec cruise on the Regal.
